Our Future Plans
Our aim is to continually look for ways to add value to the educational program we offer at St Andrew's, and this includes improving our infrastructure.
Our Master Plan envisions how the College site might evolve over the next five years and supports our College vision through the design and development of community and learning spaces.
From 2015 to 2020, we invested approximately $25 million into our Learning Hub and St Andrew's Aquatic Centre. In 2023 we also completed our underground carpark, multi-purpose courts/playing fields and upgraded Aquatic Centre amenities. With strong enrolments, we are continuing to invest significantly in our campus and have big plans for the next five years. Developments will include the construction of a Music and Drama Precinct, Main Administration building and STEAM Centre. Our College Council, Building Committee and Executive Team spend a significant amount of time planning to ensure we can achieve our strategic outcomes and facilitate rich learning experiences for our students.
Within the next five years, a series of staged developments will be rolled out strategically, including:
- Construction of a Music and Drama Precinct and Main Administration Building (Commencing 2024).
- New Flexible Learning Centre (FLC) - added Learning spaces, consolidation of facilities and maintenance, senior cafe, with additional car parking below.
- Covered walkways through spine of College
- New Chapel overlooking a natural restorative vista.
- Reconfiguration of I Block, G Block and refurbishment of S Block
- External covered sports court - new external covered sports court and break out/function space to north side of RGC
We look forward to sharing regular updates with our community as the Master Plan progresses.
Ultimately, our goal is to design extraordinary spaces that inspires lifelong learners. To create spaces that facilitate a love of learning and a place where students and our community feel they belong.
