Exploring Sound
Individual music lessons are the starting point for most students who wish to become involved in co-curricular music opportunities at St Andrew's. Lesson scheduling is specific to the studio music teacher, the student, and their parents/caregiver. Lessons are generally conducted during school hours on a fixed day with a rotating timetable to ensure students do not consistently miss the same class or activity. Our studio music lessons are best developed when working with an ensemble pathway to provide a balanced and guided education in music. There is an age restriction on some instruments due to their size and the physical requirements for playing them.
