The Real Inspector Hound - Secondary Play
Written in the 1960’s, this one-act masterpiece of farce follows two feuding theatre critics, Moon and Birdboot - the first a fusty philanderer and the second a pompous and vindictive second stringer, as they are swept into a ludicrous country house murder mystery. In the hilarious spoof of Agatha Christie-like melodrama that follows, they become dangerously implicated in the action causing a series of events that parallel the play they are viewing. As mists rise around the isolated Muldoon Manor, can an escaped madman be caught by the real Inspector Hound?
