This toe-tapping event will feature a diverse lineup of student performances, including student-led groups, the St Andrew’s Jazz Orchestra, Chamber Strings and College Choir in collaboration with our special guest artist, The View from Madeleine's Couch.

The View from Madeleine's Couch will also perform an exclusive set just for our students and the College community.
The show commences at 6.00pm sharp.

From the beachside lounges and bars of Rio de Janeiro in the late 1950s, came the cultural phenomenon that is bossa nova. And from Brisbane's south side, comes Australia's most accomplished interpreters of this rich and beautiful music.
Co-founders Anje West (vocals and percussion), and Kym Ambrose (vibraphone), have led their band for 29 years, sharing not only their love of classic bossa novas, but their award-winning original music from three critically acclaimed albums, celebrating their influences across Brazilian jazz and bossa nova.
The band’s sound and style are unique to Brazilian music in Australia, with effortless musical camaraderie and deep connection to the music evident in every show they play.
