St. Andrew's Clean Up Australia With Their Buddies!

What a Wonderful Start to the School Year!
Most of our leadership positions have been appointed, well done students! We now await the announcement of our House Leaders. Congratulations to all who went through the interview process!

Recycling Excursion:
A reminder to all students that 6CB and 6KC will be visiting the Recycling Facility on Monday the 4th of March and 6RF on the Thursday the 7th of March. Students are permitted to wear their sports uniform with red shirt. Morning tea should be packed in excursion bags so our school bags can be left at school.
Thank you to our parent helpers who have agreed to come along!
Mr. Doran
Mrs Brumby
Mr. Keelan
Mrs Frame
Mrs Hume
Mrs Fraser

This year is also a great opportunity for our students to travel as we take our annual trek to Canberra and some students take part in our China Trip.
Whatever direction you take this year we encourage you all the stretch outside of your comfort zone and challenge yourself to be the best you can be. Mr Fraser, Mrs Cashman and Mrs Bibby are here to support you in your endeavors and to enjoy with you a wonderful year of success!
We particularly look forward each year to dressing up, traveling, debating, swimming, gardening, recycling, playing with our Prep Buddies, the Questacon in Canberra, toboganning at Perisher, debating at New Parliament House, watching our Musical, going to the School Fair, running at the Pink Day Breakfast Fun Run and of course doing some very serious study in our classrooms and the science laboratory as
well as much much more!

Welcome to the tail end of the year of the Dragon!!! The Chinese Year of the Snake will kick off with celebrations from Friday 8th for 10 days in Brisbane city for those interested in inviting Chinese culture into a family outing.
People born in the year of the snake are considered to be powerful and ambitious...if your birth date is a factor of 12 this could mean you!
