Williamson House is ready for a WONDERFUL 2013!

We had a brilliant year in 2012, winning the Cross Country and the Diamond Dash. We also had fun with crazy costumes for Book Week, doughnut-eating competitions, House Volleyball, our sausage sizzle, Foundation Day, Athletics Day, Rock-Off and much, much more. And, believe it or not, 2013 is already shaping up to be even bigger and better!

Williamson House’s motto is ‘Strength, Integrity and Friendship’ and as we welcome so many new ‘Warriors’ to our house in 2013, our focus for Term One is on building strong and meaningful friendships. Our Warriors take great pride in what a friendly, open and welcoming house we are.

Each student belongs to a ‘Home Group’ – a group of students from Year 7 through to Year 12, led by one of our fantastic Williamson teachers. During Home Group time, students can expect to build relationships through games and activities, interact with students outside of their year level cohort, and receive support and encouragement from their Home Group teacher. Home Group is also a time to ensure students are organised and coping with secondary school life – rolls are marked, important notices read, uniforms are checked and diaries are signed.

This year, the Purple Army is led by a fantastic group of year 12 students, who all take on responsibilities in their Home Groups and at House events.

• All students are allocated with a locker which they MUST keep locked at all times.
• Diaries are checked on Thursdays and need to be signed by a parent.
• Home Group starts promptly at 8.30am – late students need to sign in at the secondary office
• Formal uniform needs to be worn on Wednesdays during Term 2 and Term 3.
