Brodie picks up State Award
Brodie Modini attended the 'Queensland Future State Greats' award ceremony in Brisbane along with 24 other students from all over Queensland. He was there to receive his future State Great award and was presented with his certificate and cheque by former Cricket great Ian Healy and also Wally Lewis. He was the Sunshine Coast winner as in 2010 he represented Queensland in Rugby Union, Touch, Athletics and Cross Country and is the current 800m Australian Champion.

St. Andrew's swimmers are the best on the Sunshine Coast
Congratulations to Sarah Johnson and Max Osborn who were recognised as the Sunshine Coast swimming Age champions at the recent Sunshine Coast Regional swimming carnival. Max (11 years boys) was outstanding all day and his pet events, the 50m and 100m Butterfly were particulary strong. Sarah (12 years girls) had a busy day and was particularly dominant in the 100m Free. Sarah was also recognised as Open Age Champion on the day. Both swimmers along with Zoe Dick, Sophie Johson.

Remy Fairweather creates history at State swimming Championships 2010
Remy has already won 3 GOLD State medals , but the bigger news is on Monday 13th Dec, she created a bit of swimming history and broke The AUSTRALIAN RECORD 13yrs 400m FREE, so she has become the fastest 13yrs ever in swimming Australia history to swim in a time of 4.14 and has now surpassed swimming greats such as Hayley Lewis and Tracey Wickham at the same age. She was presented an award with her coach in a ceremony for her achievements and also  "swimmer of the session". Her time also broke four records in total ( two Aust and two Qld long course records ). Congratulations Remy.
