TOUCH 2013Look our for the Information for our Touch teams for 2013. The competition is played in Term 3 and is available to all Yr 6-12 students to compete in the Sunshine Coast Independent Schools Touch competition ( see below)
The traditional 'St Andrew's Celebration Jump' as our Open Girls Touch team defeated Matthew Flinders Anglican College 6-4 in The Independent Schools Final this evening. A brilliant group of girls on and off the field!
Congratulations to the 15 years Girls Touch team who went undefeated all season to win the District Championship. They were simply stunning!
In Term 3 there are 3 divisions divisions, Junior (6,7,8 girls and boys), Intermediate (9,10 girls anf boys) and Senior (11,12 girls and boys) and we would love to have students in Year6,7 8,9,10,11 and 12 represent the College.
Schools involved: Matthew Flinders, Sunshine Coast Grammar, Immanuel, Suncoast Christian College, Pacific Lutheran College
Location: ‘Home and Away’ format – our home games will be held at the new Peregian Fields which are walking distance from our College. Teams will travel by bus to and from the fields when playing away.
Season dates: Term 3 only - Week 1
When: Each Wednesday at 4:15pm
Training: Students will train during on their sport days. Coaches and team members may decide to train more than this.
Uniform: New exciting playing uniforms will be ready for the start of the season.
I encourage new and existing players to get involved andrepresent the College in this social and fast moving sport. I also look forward to seeing the students reap the benefits of playing in a social, fun activity each week.
