St Andrew's Fair
THE 2013 St Andrew's Fair - Saturday 25 May 2013!
What a fantastic day!
Well the Fair is over for another year and what a success it was. The sun was shining and so many people turned out to enjoy the day. We have such an amazing community who come together each year to run this huge event. There are so many people to thank, including staff who worked in the stalls, in particular the Facilities Team who worked for weeks before hand preparing, our parents and friends who prepared the stalls and co-ordinated teams of volunteers, our students who also worked on stalls and assited before hand and our Fair Committee, who from the start of the year have been meeting, planning and preparing the big day.
We also say a huge thank you to Coolum Beach Dental who joined the 2013 Fair as a Platinum Sponsor. Your support is very much appreciated. There are also so many local businesses who donated goods and vouchers for our raffle and silent auction. Your donations have contributed in a huge way to our fundraising! Thank you all.

Here is an excerpt from an email sent to our Community from our Principal Mr Ivey, following the 2012 Fair.
I am writing to say a huge thank you to our community for what was another sensational College Fair. The atmosphere on the day was incredible and this was thanks to so many parents, staff and students who attended and got involved in the huge variety of activities.
In particular, can I thank all those parents and students who were involved in some way with running a stall, helping set up, pack up, or who simply pitched in when something needed doing. It was your willingness to get involved that was so greatly appreciated and reminds me why this is such an amazing place to work and educate our children.
The College is indebted to the fantastic work of our Fair Committee, Amanda and Ian Richens, Jo Stevenson, Geoff Cox, Steve Grayson, Lulu Oosterhof, Tania Lee, Mike Keily, Sue Sagar, who worked tirelessly both before, during and after the event to ensure it was a great success. I recognise there were so many parents and supporters who did an amazing job both in leading up to and on the day. Thank you so much for your support.
At this stage, the final details of the monies raised are begin sorted and we hope to have an idea to you toward the end of the week as expenses are finalised. The general feeling is that this was a very well-supported Fair and given the numbers of people, it should be a great outcome. However, from my perspective, the great sense of community that was demonstrated on Saturday was by far the biggest bonus for me.
