Thank you to the many people who assisted setting and packing up and on the BBQ. A special thank you to Mrs Sarah Oakes, Mr Murray Oakes, Mr Tony Anderson, Mr Julian Dickson and Mr Peter Douglas who were incredible. Thank you also to Annie Murray-Brown and Jan Henderson for coordinating the bake sale. It's been a fun few days of St Andrew's Rugby. Our Primary Rugby teams had a great evening on Friday 22nd as we hosted Eumundi. Our U13 7's team travelled to Hervey Bay on Saturday 23rd to play in the Fraser Coast Invitational 7's tournament involving 15 schools. The boys were superb and made the Grand Final and finished runners up going down to a very strong St Luke's Anglican College from Bundaberg 24-12 in the Final. Dear all - a massive thanks to all who came along on Friday night to our Rugby season launch against Matthew Flinders. There was some terrific Rugby and way too many positives from the evening.
A special mention to the 1st XV who were outstanding thanks to the passion instilled to them by Mr Bowen. The boys loved it, many of who are new this season.

To see the large crowd supporting the College was a personal highlight and goes a long way to further enhancing our great College sense of community. It was also wonderful to see Prep families mixing with Year 12 families, enjoying the evening on Friday and I am sure there will be many more evenings like Friday throughout Term 2. A special thanks also to the Rugby Supporters Group for their amazing contribution.

I look forward to seeing al the boys at Peregian Fields at 3.30pm each Friday. I hope many families can come along also to join the fun.
