Code of ConductThe code of conduct exists to protect the safety and well being of all players and supporters. All clubs have been asked to pass on the importance of the parent's and spectator's code of conduct for the season. This is available for viewing at http://www.scjru.com/conduct.asp. This season, the QJRU Management Committee and SCJRU Competition Committee have the power to cite Players, Coaches, and/or Spectators for behaviour that may bring the game of Rugby into disrepute.
The reputation of St. Andrew's on the coast is wonderful and the support and contribution from players and players in the past has been fantastic, I have no doubt this year will be another wonderful season. If any parents are unsure as to what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour on the sideline, please contact me and I am happy to assist. As a general rule, the game is for our young players to enjoy and the attention should be on them!Can I please ask that if you have any concerns with games, venues or a breach of the code of conduct. Please contact me and I am happy to bring it to the attention of the SCJRU. If you have any concerns, at no point are any St. Andrew's supporters/families to approach the officials or the opposition team during, or immediately after the game. Please let your coach know if you have a concern and they will be able to deal with the issue. My thanks for your help with this aspect of our game.
