Additional non-curricular (non-compulsory) excursions, camps and/or other subject related charges will be calculated on an individual basis and shown separately on your fee statement.

General Purpose Levy

Covers - Technology and Equipment, the College Sports Programs, the Outdoor Education Program (including camps), and Subject Levies Yr. 10 – 12 (excluding Marine Studies, VET and Music Extension)

Camps - are a compulsory part of St Andrew's curriculum requirements. Additional costs may be incurred depending on Camp selection. The Year 6 Canberra Trip is a non-compulsory camp, attendance is therefore optional, and this camp is listed as a separate item on the fee statement.

The rollout of the 1:1 laptop program will continue in 2013 to include Yrs 5 – 12. Students in these year levels will be issued with a laptop, case, accidental damage insurance, software, with 24hr hardware and software support. Parents are asked to complete a Laptop Program Agreement prior to the student receiving the laptop.

Subject Levy

Levies are charged for senior elective subjects that incur higher resource and/or consumable costs. VET Course charges are per course not per annum.

Textbook Levy

The College offers a Book Hire Program for all of the text books required by Secondary Students.

A book hire charge is placed on your Term One account each year. This charge is subsidised by the State Government’s Text Book Allowance Scheme. The Text Book Policy and a Care & Responsibility Agreement is issued at the commencement of each year. Students must return the agreement to be issued the required books for the coming year.

Sibling Discount

A sibling discount of 2.5% will be offered for the second student and 5% for the third and subsequent students in a family attending the College at the same time, and will only be offered to students not in receipt of any other concession. This discount is applicable to tuition fees only.

Discount for Annual Fee Payment

A 4% discount on Tuition Fees and Compulsory Levies is available if the total sum is paid in full, prior to 25 January 2013. Please contact Linda Frohmuller or Kathy Thiess in the Business Office on 5471 5520 to ensure your calculation is processed prior to the cut off date.

Please Note: Payment must be received prior to the cut off date to enable discount to be processed.

Finance Policy

It is the intention of the College Council that the costs set in this current fee schedule will remain for the whole school year. However, the right is reserved to change the fees during the course of the year if circumstances outside the control of the Council impact significantly upon the cost of school operations.

Accounts are due as per the dates below. A non-refundable late payment fee of $100.00 will be charged if your account has not been paid by the due date. Students will be unable to attend non-compulsory (co-curricular) activities if school fees are unpaid. This includes overseas trips, excursions, valedictory/formal events etc.

Due Dates School Fees

College fees are invoiced four times per year, prior to the start of each term. Payment dates for 2013 are as follows:

Term One: 29/01/2013 Term Three: 15/07/2013

Term Two: 15/04/2013 Term Four: 8/10/2013

PaySmart: is a direct debit system which allows weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments to be debited from your nominated account. Details of this payment option will be included with your fee statement.

Note: This is the only payment plan option offered by the College.
