Brisbane Lions Cup, Secondary Boys (Boys in Yr 8&9): Thursday May 30th
Our Open Boys team will play in Term 3 each week.
Girls Carnival 2013
Our girls had way too much fun on Tues 12th March at the Sunshine Coast Secondary Schools Girls AFL carnival! Congratulations to our 2 teams - Our Junior Girls who finished 3rd out of 10 teams and our Senior Girls who finished 4th out of 16 teams. The girls were fantastic. More photos are here:
AFL Girls success
Congratulations to the Yr 6/7 Girls AFL team who competed in the Sunshine Coast AFL Carnival today with 15 other schools. The team were outstanding winning all pool games, their quarter final and semi final and made it through to the Grand Final. They managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the last 30 seconds to finish runners up. They absolutely loved it and full credit to Conny Bibby for her enthusiasm and great coaching of the girls! A brilliant day!
Our 6/7 Boys team ended up in a similar postion making it all teh ay through to the Grand Final and then missing out to Stella Maris.
