1-to-1 Laptop Program
Welcome to the 1-to-1 Laptop Program Website.2012 has been an exciting year for the implementation of St. Andrew's 1-to-1 laptop program. We now have Years 5, 7,8,9,10 and 11 students and teachers using the Lenovo laptops. Teachers have engaged in Professional Development under the guidance of the Dean of e-Learning, Mr Peter Gazzola to ensure that the Curriculum and Pedagogy is kept up to date. Teacher Professional Development is still continuously being applied across all levels of the College to take advantage of what 21st Century learning has to offer.
Already we have seen teachers develop units of work taking into account students' learning styles, higher order thinking skills and using Web2.0 tools. Students also have access to educational programs at school and at home.
2013 is the final stage of implementation of the 1 to 1 program when Year level from 5 to 12 will be included. The continual development of the program which will align itself to a new Learning Management System will allow students to access their Curriculum and its resources anytime and anywhere.
